Garfield Hts, OH - age 87, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born July 11, 1938 in Cleveland, he was the son of the (late) Henry and Ida (Morrelli) Liebenauer. Don was a longtime resident of Chesterland, Ohio and member of St. Anselm Parish. He was a devoted husband and an amazing father, grandpa, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joanne; his children, Mark (Julie) Liebenauer, Laura (Kris) Schott, and Donna Liebenauer; and grandchildren, Matthew Liebenauer, Natalie (Stephen) Joyce, Benjamin Schott and Lydia Schott; and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul (Margretta) Liebenauer. After graduating John Adams High School, Don joined the National Guard and played in the 122nd Army Band until 1965. Don spent many years in tool-and-die manufacturing, starting Don-J Inc. in 1991. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, OH 44026.
