Steubenville, OH - Ed Looman,74, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He was born on May 16, 1951, in Steubenville, and was the son of the late James and Edna Mae (Ferguson) Looman. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School and a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish.


Ed is survived by his wife, Carol (Cashioli), with whom he shared 48 years of marriage; children, Ryan (Elizabeth) Looman and Jess Looman; grandchildren, Eli, Weston, and Victor Looman; sister-in-law, Marilyn (David) Mosti; brothers-in-law, Dennis, Bernie (Tami), and Mark Cashioli; and many cherished nieces & nephews.


Friends may call at Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Boulevard, Steubenville on Sunday, December 21, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 22, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at a later date at Mentor Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, Ed's family requests that donations be made to the KJL Memorial Fund, which was established in memory of his late grandson. Checks can be made to the KJL Memorial Fund, 147 N. Settlers Lane, Painesville, OH 44077.
