Edward Lee Dingess, age 69, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at his home. He was born September 28, 1955 in Ashtabula, to Elba, Sr. and Mattie (Martin) Dingess.
Ed was retired from Morton Salt after 40 years of service. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and going to the casino. He was an avid "do-it-yourselfer". Ed enjoyed taking his dogs, his best friends, Roxy and Jasper, for car rides. He was a wonderful father and friend. The world was a better place with Ed in it.
He is survived by his children, Shanna (Colin Danks) Dingess, Robert (Janette) Dingess; sister, Susie (Roger Craik) Dingess; brothers, Elba, Jr. (Sandy Chudzik) Dingess, Paul Dingess; sister-in-law, Patty Dingess. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Jennifer; parents, Mattie and Elba, Sr.
