Austinburg, Ohio - Elizabeth "Elsie" M. Fiala, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Born February 12, 1932 at the home in Monroe Township on Stanhope Kellogsville Road. She was the daughter of John and Frances (Gasek) Wincik.

She attended Kingsville High School and worked at Nelson Machine and The Eighmy Corp. for twenty-eight years. She married Edward Fiala in 1955.

Elsie enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, and spent a lot of time painting in her younger years. She also enjoyed doing yard work at the St. Mary's Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Fiala; her sisters; Theresa Wincik, Helen Kolakowski, Jessie Simak, Emilie Licote; and brother, Bernard "Bennie" Wincik.

Elsie is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Georgeann (Doug) Canter who was continuously by her side and took care of her.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11AM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 E Center Street, North Kingsville, Ohio.
