Tavares, FL - Elizabeth Mae Wortman of Tavares, FL, passed away on May 13, 2025, at her home in Tavares. She was born on November 11, 1932, in Swarthmore, PA, to her parents: Harry and Elizabeth (Freeborn) Spore. She worked as a press operator for Rockwell International for 27 years.
She is survived by her children: Jack (Vickie Crokie) Wortman, Robert (Gaynile) Wortman and Elizabeth Ciano. 6 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and sisters: Ginny, Marion, Mary and Shirley. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; brothers: Bill, Harry, Andy; sisters Susan, Katherine, Helen and son in law Dominick Ciano.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL. Funeral Ceremony will take place on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at 10:00AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Online condolences can be left at www.steversonhamlinhilbish.com
