It is so difficult to hear that Katy has passed. She was such a ray of sunshine whenever I saw her. My deepest condolences to Vicky and Kurt. Both Katy and John were such great people. When you have known someone almost your entire life, its like a part of you is now gone, but such wonderful memories will always remain in my heart.

Sending my sympathies to you, Victoria and Kurt. I have so many memories of church growing up, and you and your family were part of that, especially your mother. She did so much at Bethany and greeted me graciously every time. I will miss seeing her there when I go. I’m glad Kurt will stay on Carpenter Rd., keeping the tradition going. I also remember the Beckwiths. We were backyard neighbors if you remember. I’m sorry I cannot attend the funeral but hope to see you sometime again.

Katy was the one who helped keep our class in touch through the years after we all went our separate ways after high school. She will most certainly be missed. Your parents were wonderful people, Victoria and Kurt. But I'm sure you know that. God bless you all and keep you in His care.
