Harry Fernandez of Hambden Twp Ohio Passed away at the age of 98 on December 12, 2020. Born in Chagrin falls to Joe and Anna Fernandez. Grew up on the family farm in Rome Ohio with his brother Rudy. Harry joined the United State Army Air Corp where he served in the WWII as a B24 Pilot with 30 successful missions over Germany. After the war he returned home attended Kent State University. He married Ruth Gatts, married for 72 years. He taught school for 25 years at Rock Creek, Hambden, Burton, Perry Schools.
Will be laid to rest next to his mother and father at the Rock Creek Union Cemetery. He is survived by his Loving Wife Ruth, sons Rick and Fern, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Alan and granddaughter Tia.
