James Anthony Lombardo ("Jim") Obituary
James "Jim" Anthony Lombardo, 72, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born on August 14, 1951, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Anthony J. and Evelyn (Sjogren) Lombardo.
Jim graduated from Harbor High School in 1970. He worked for the City of Ashtabula in the water treatment division.
He was an avid fan of all Cleveland sports teams as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Jim faithfully attended AA meetings and was very proud to have twenty years of sobriety at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his sisters, Anna (Don) Bento and Sharon Simmen; his nieces and nephews: Michael Lombardo, Lenore Lombardo Lupo, Dawn (Kelly) Prine, Joe Bento, John (Diane) Bento and Lisa Edmonds (Laura Allred) and many great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Anthony P. Lombardo and his brother-in-law, Art Simmen.
In honor of Jim's wishes, there will not be any services at this time.
