Janice Marie (Ryel) Taylor was a force to be reckoned with. Strong-willed and fiercely independent, she lived life on her own terms from 04/15/1939, until 03/04/2025. She faced challenges head-on, never backing down, and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her. She is survived by a large and far-reaching family, including children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many others whose lives were shaped by her presence. Janice's sharp mind, determination, and no-nonsense attitude will not be forgotten.
Visitation will be April 12, 2025 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva with a celebration of her life following. If you cannot attend - or even if you can - in her memory, raise a glass, stand your ground, and live life unapologetically.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Geneva Senior Center, Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, any animal rescue or something important to her.
