Conneaut, Ohio - Jennie V. Carlucci, age 95 of Conneaut died Saturday morning February 22, 2025.
Jennie was born on June 16, 1929, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Dominic and Michalena Noce Petronio. She was a 1947 graduate of Ashtabula High School, and later worked at Ashtabula Corrugated Box Factory, the Astatic Corp. in Conneaut and the Children's Store in downtown Conneaut. She married her husband Arthur Carlucci at Mt. Carmel Church, August 4, 1951.
Jennie was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in Conneaut and was an active member for many years in various church's activities, festivals and dinners. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and was an outstanding baker. What Jennie cherished and loved the most was spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Frances Rose, a brother Guy Petronio and an infant sister Irene Petronio.
Jennie is survived by her husband of 73 years Arthur A. Carlucci, daughter Lisa and Dave Coon of N. Kingsville, son Mark and Ashley Carlucci of Conneaut, five grandchildren Hannah, Jenna, Gina, Aaron and Audrey, and a sister Marie Oxley of Ashtabula.
Mass of the Christian Burial be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, Conneaut with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, N. Kingsville, Ohio. The family would like to invite friends and relatives to a funeral luncheon which will follow at St. Frances Cabrini Hall immediately after burial.
Memorial contributions in Jennie's memory may be made to the Conneaut Food Pantry or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
