JOHN L. "JACK" LEMPONEN, age 93, passed away on July 8, 2022. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Gouhin) for 65 years; loving father of Monica (Michael) Krasowski; dearest grandfather of twins, Amanda Krasowski (Joseph Bertolini) and Hannah Krasowski; dear brother of Marion (Wesley) Eastman and the late twin sisters, Anne Armstrong and Joan Sherman. He was a life member of the American Legion, VFW, AmVets, DAV, and Korean War Veterans. Jack was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and an avid Buckeye fan, distinguished as the 100,000th graduate of the university.

Friends received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE., BEDFORD (ONE MILE WEST OF THE FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), FRIDAY, JULY 15 FROM 5 - 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 16 at Our Lady of Hope Church, Bedford at 11 a.m. (Please meet at church). Interment will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
