Hermitage, PA - Jonathan Jesse Sturgill, age 89, of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in UPMC Jamison Hospital.
Born January 30, 1936, in War, WV, he was the son of the late Troy and Bessie (Rowe) Sturgill.
He married the former Sarah Goodman on August 18, 2013, and she survives in Hermitage, PA.
Johathan worked most of his employment career for Oberwise Dairy in Aurora, IL, as a milkman.
In his spare time, he liked to play guitar and watch westerns on television. He was a former member of the First Baptist Church, of Perry, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife Sarah, a son Jeffrey (Rhonda) Sturgill, of Las Vegas, NV, a sister, Joann Rich, of Ashtabula, OH, and one grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents, nine brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
