Lakeview, Ohio - Karen Denise Grubke, 70, of Lakeview, OH, formerly of Conneaut, OH, passed away Friday morning, November 21, 2025, at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center.

Karen was born on October 17, 1955, in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of the late Tommy Floyd and Holly Fay (Davis) Blackmon. She married her first husband, Martin Wojtowicz in 1973, and her second husband, Ronald Grubke in 1990, both preceded her in death.

Karen is survived by two children, Corrie (Dwayne) Mitchell of Huntsville, OH, and Marty (Amy) Wojtowicz of Proctorville, OH, a stepson, Jeff (Amanda) Grubke of Madison, OH, and two grandchildren, Alexis (Josh Stemen) Wojtowicz and Aiden Grubke.

Karen was a graduate of William C. Overfelt High School in San Jose, CA. She owned and operated Day Street Inn along the shores of Lake Erie for 33 years. Her dedication and hard work earned her a feature in the January 2003 edition of Self-Employed America Magazine. Karen enjoyed maintaining her immaculate flower garden and listening to 70's classic rock music.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held at a later date.
