Kenneth J Reed Obituary

Kenneth J. Reed, age 84, of Geneva, died January 26, 2019, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born January 17, 1935, in Munson Twp., to Alvie and Goldie (nee: Apperson) Reed, he has been a lifelong area resident. Ken was an avid sports fan and proudly served in the US Army.

Survivors include his children Joseph Reed of Harpersfield and Laura (Edward) Bukky of Geneva; many grand and great grandchildren; step children Debbie Weed of KY, Penny (Ken) Barnes of Houston, TX; and sister, Grace Beranek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan; step son, Mark; and many siblings.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 1, 2019, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (500' south of Chardon Square/St. Rt. 44) Chardon. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with burial immediately following at Hambden Twp. Cemetery.
