Lois A. Meola, 82, of Conneaut went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born, May 23, 1942, with her early years were ever changing, always finding home at her extended family's side.
Lois graduated from Ashtabula High School and continued her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her work as needed took her to various nursing homes in NE Ohio. For 25 years she dedicated her time and effort to the care of others, retiring from a job well done.
She was a dedicated parishioner of First Assembly of God Church in Conneaut, where she was a member of multiple women's groups. Her faith in the Lord was steadfast and can be seen in the worn pages of her bible. Lois had a deep love for animals and throughout her life, was never without a dog or cat by her side.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eleanor Luonuansuu in 2002 and her son, Mark A Meola at birth.
She will be greatly missed by her family which include her husband of 54 years, Mark R. Meola, whom she married December 29, 1970; sons, Jon S. Brenkus and Michael S. Brenkus (Nanette); sister, Gloria Francis; brother, Louis Luonuansuu; grandchildren, Michael Brenkus (Michaella), Stuart Brenkus (Maija), Lindsey Brenkus-Heckman (Andrew) and a great-grandchild, August Brenkus-Heckman, along with former daughter-in-law Teri Brenkus.
