Marcia Lynne Lewis, age 72, passed away Jan. 6, 2017, at Brookdale of Newell Creek.
Born Nov. 21, 1944, in Lima, Ohio, Marcia was raised in Geneva and graduated from Geneva High School in 1962. She received her B.S. in Education from The Defiance College in 1967 and taught in Mentor, Willoughby-Eastlake and Wickliffe city schools.
Survivors include her brother, David K. (Barbara) Smith of Las Lunas, N.M.; cousins, Mike (Betty) Eskelin, Connie Eskelin, Patricia Rhodes, and Scott and Roger Hass, all of Ashtabula County. Marcia also leaves to cherish her memory, treasured friends Jim (deceased) and Sally McIndoe, and Pat and Eddie Boyd. We hope she finds happiness in the next world that she did not in this one.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cech, in 2005; and parents, Stevens and Gertrude Smith.
At her request, no viewing or services will be held.
