Mecca, Ohio - Maribelle passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
She was a retired home health aide who cared for people for more than 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Guernard and Marian Dodge of Kinsman, a brother Stacey Dodge and her former husband Ralph Swyers.
She is survived by her husband Dean Bates Sr and her 5 children. Mary (Tom) McCrimmon of Bazetta, Guernard (Brenda) of Rome, Christina (Christian) Kearney of Colebrook, Stacy (Bo) Perkins of Orwell and Sara Swyers of Middlefield, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as her sister Barbara Elmore of Windsor and brother Gary Dodge of Kinsman.
Per Belle's wishes, there are no services however, a celebration of life will take place August 9th for family and friends.
