Mary Ann Stillman, age 89 of Cleveland, TN, and formerly of Geneva, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 13, 1935 in Hacker Valley, W.VA to Sarah (Tonkinson) and Leonard Light. She married James H. Stillman in Ashtabula on September 23, 1978.
Mary Ann was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She was a recovery room nurse at Lake Hospital, retiring in 1989 after 30 years. She was a member of Geneva First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Altar Guild and Marian/Esther Guild. She enjoyed silk flower arranging, sewing, reading and volunteering with the Red Cross.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Firestone-Burton, 3 grandchildren; Angela Dilmore, Michael DeMarco Jr., and Frank DeMarco; 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents; her brothers; Eugene, William, and Robert Light; sisters, Wilma Jo (Matson), and Louise (Ray); son-in law Edward.
Friends will be received from 6-8 pm on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Funeral Home. Final resting Place will be Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Kingsville.
