Mary H. Brown, 77, of Ashtabula passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at Cardinal Woods Nursing Home, Madison.

She was born August 9, 1947 in Lorado, West Virigina the daughter of the late Harrison and Mable (Harrison) Adkins. She married the love of her life James Thomas Brown on April 26, 1966.

Mary loved going to church and was a member of the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music. She loved puzzle books, ice cream (especially strawberry), dancing, and her grandkids. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Betty (Dan) Streit, Charles (Mary) Brown, and James (Victoria Hines) Brown; grandchildren, Savannah Ramey, Brittany Ornelas, Brandon Ramey, Alexander "Zander" Brown, Kyle Brown, Natasha Gonzalez, Amber Lucha, James Lucha, Anthony Brown, Isabella Lucha, Boyce Lucha, Austin Blankenship, and twins Isabella and Isaac Hines; great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Rebecca, Karrye, Jaylin, Tyree, Elijah, A'laiyah, Saint, Gracelynn, and Elliot; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband James Brown in 1994; brother, Edward Harrison in infancy, and sister, Lois Daniels.

Calling hours will be held from 11AM-1PM with a service to follow at 1 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula. Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, North Kingsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
