Mary Lou Warner 1939-2019, 80, of Orwell passed away on September 26, 2019, at Ashtabula County Medical Center, surrounded by family.
She was born October 4, 1939, in Cleveland, the daughter of Louis Marason, and Florence (Adams) Marason. On August 1, 1966, she married the late Harry James Warner Jr. Marylou and Harry were married for 52 years. Marylou graduated from Orange High School, class of 1957. She went on to work at General Electric in Euclid Ohio for many years, and subsequently retired as a school bus driver for Ashtabula County Schools. Marylou was an avid reader, accomplished quilter, and had many other interests. Upon retirement, she and Harry traveled extensively throughout the United States and Mexico in their RV. Additionally, Mary Lou held a commercial hot air balloon pilots license. Marylou and husband Harry flew from locations throughout the United States, from the beginning of the 1980's, through the 1990's. Their beloved balloon hot air balloon "Zepher" was a colorful sight in the skies above Ashtabula County, and during the annual hot air balloon lift off at the Great Geauga County Fair.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Warner; step daughter, Holly Marie Phillips; Niece Allison Marie Warner; and Nephew, Thomas Warner Brandeberry.
Mary Lou is survived by her children: sons, Michael J. McArdle, and Bruce Brian Warner; step sons Harry, J. Warner III, and Clayton Thomas Warner; daughters: Kathleen P. Thomas, Margaret M. Sackel, Heather S. Brandeberry; and step daughters Faith R. Warner and Beatrice F. Warner; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Private graveside service and cremation interment will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2019, for both Marylou and husband Harry at the Warner family cemetery in Breedtown, Pennsylvania. Donations can be made, in Mary Lou's honor, to the Alzheimer's Association - act.atz.org.
