Conneaut, Ohio - Maxine Iva Taylor McMurray December 30th 1932 - April 12th 2026

Mrs. McMurray passed away peacefully April 12th 2026, with family at her bed side. Born in New Castle Pennsylvania December 30th 1932, she was the daughter of Ralph & Viola Miller Taylor.

She married Gail Raymond McMurray Sr. on Dec. 30th 1950 who together enjoyed almost 69 years of devoted marriage until his death in 2019.

After graduating college at Penn State University, she worked in public service as a High School teacher and later a Social worker. Volunteer work included Worthy Advisor of Rainbow Girls, the VFW Arrow Cadet Junior Riffle drill team, Life member of the Girl Scouts of America, Commodore of Ashtabula Power Squadron, Faith in Action, President of Marine Corp Auxiliary League, and received State of Ohio honors for Joined Hearts at the governor's residence in Columbus.

Mrs. McMurray lived in Ashtabula County for over 60 years. Immediate Family included 6 children, 14 Grandkids, and 26 Great Grandkids.

Memorial Service is planned for May 31st at Kelloggsville Methodist Church (12:00-2:00) Fellowship with Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2:00PM.
