North Lima, Ohio - Michael M. Marshall, departed this earth peacefully on April 7, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Michael was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on February 26, 1963. The son of David and Mary Lou Marshall. His childhood was filled with his love of adventure and the outdoors. Growing up on a farm with his parents and 4 siblings, there was always work to be done but also lots of hikes, time for fishing and even learning to sail on Lake Erie. Michael and his parents chose for him to attend high school at the Kiski School in Saltsburg, Pa. and then he attended Youngstown State University graduating with a degree in civil engineering. Michael remained in the Youngstown area as he built his career and raised his family.

Michael was a hands-on dad, taking his children to school, sports, and events throughout his life. Always wanting to spend time with his children even if it was just lending an ear when they needed to talk over a problem as adults. Michael love all types of family gatherings from simple dinners or large family reunions. Family and friends him will miss his smile and laughter.

Michael is survived by his parents David and Mary Lou Marshal, his children Jacob (Angela), Maxwell (Kelsey), Alexander (Shiane), Lily, and his 4 graddchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Todd and Douglas (Agnieszka), sisters Melinda (Russell) Kapalin and Elizabeth Barda along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah D. Marshall.
