Perry, Ohio - Nancy K. Hendricks, age 82, passed away September 4, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital Fairhill in Cleveland. She was born May 26, 1943, in Ashtabula to Arthur Halliday and Irene (Beham) Halliday.

Nancy was the corporate secretary and office manager for Klyn Nursery in Perry for more than 38 years. Beginning in 1987 when she and her husband started their leadership at Klyn Nursery, she became a well-known and loved member of the horticulture community.

She was a member of St, Mary Church in Painesville and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Ministry. Nancy loved plants and travel. This combination took Nancy and her husband around the world. Two of her favorite destinations were China and South Africa. With her ancestral heritage in Scotland and Ireland, she also enjoyed exploring those and other European countries with Dutch and English plantsmen. Cabo was a yearly destination, where Nancy enjoyed its beauty and tranquility.

Nancy was known for her sense of style, both her own personal appearance and sharing her eye for class and uniqueness. Being the consummate shopper, Nancy knew how to see the interests of others and chose the most meaningful gifts for those she loved.

Nancy is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Hendricks; sons, George Couch and Brian (Michelle) Hendricks; daughter Kim Davis (Chris Pazemis); brother, David (Ann) Halliday; grandchildren, Leah Davis (Michael McClure), Ember Pazemis, Alex Couch, and Cameron Couch.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Halliday, and her parents.

Friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, and Friday at 9:30-10am. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
