Pearl Leona Franklin (nee Ellinger), 75, of Roaming Shores, OH, passed away peacefully Monday evening, August 22, 2022 in the comforts of her home while surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Cleveland, OH on July 11, 1947 to the late Frank and Pearl (Gemmel) Ellinger. Pearl later married her best friend and love, Gary J. Franklin on January 15, 1966.

She was a retired phlebotomist, most recently working the past 28 years at ACMC. Pearl loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Pearl will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 56 years, Gary; children, Dawn Franklin, Gary (Megan) Franklin Jr., Summer (Todd) Brainard, Ryan (Arin) Franklin; grandchildren, Morgan, Riley, Jocelyn, Emma, Kennedy, Harper, River, Connor, Skylar; sister, Louise Giancola; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 3:00 P.M., FRIDAY, AUGUST 26, 2022 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 3210 N. MAIN ST., ROCK CREEK, OH 44084 with Joyce Benesh officiating. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
