Leland, NC - Richard Joseph Gage, Sr passed away Saturday March 15th, just before his 91st birthday. Richard was born in Ashtabula, Ohio and lived in Florida, New Mexico, California, Tennessee, Alabama, South & North Carolina throughout his life. He served in several leadership roles for many years with Grace Bible Church in Palm Bay, Florida. Richard retired after many years as an Electrical Engineer with Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, Florida. Devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Marie Gage of Leland, NC, his son Randy Gage of Melbourne, Florida, sisters Patricia Strock (Truesdell) and Yvonne Flood of Ashtabula, Ohio and eight grandchildren. He was a true caretaker of his family, thoroughly enjoyed designing as an engineer, studying his bible and traveling. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
