Richard A. Motylewicz, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Ohman Family Living at Briar in Middlefield. Rich was born in Cleveland the son of Alex and Lillian (Metlicka) Motylewicz.

He was married to Mary Lou (Cufr) Motylewicz on October 14, 1972. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam Conflict. Rich worked for S & Z Tool and Die in Cleveland for 44 years. Rich was a member of the Orwell American Legion Post 719 where he served as a trustee and Post Adjutant. He enjoyed mowing the grass, gardening and woodworking. Rich is survived by his wife Mary Lou Motylewicz, sons Mark (Niki) and Kyle (Katie) Motylewicz, grandchildren Gavyn, Maddie, Lucas and Sidney Motylewicz. Preceded in death by his parents Alex and Lillian Motylewicz. A funeral service officiated by pastor Tim May will take place at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc, 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, Ohio 44076 on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., concluding with an American Legion Honors Service. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Orwell American Legion Post 719, 215 N. Maple Street, Orwell, Ohio 44076. Condolences may be made at painefuneralhome.com
