Robert D. Hills, 68, of Conneaut, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at UH Conneaut Medical Center. Born on May 18, 1956, in Conneaut, he was the son of Donald and Veryl (Colby) Hills.

Robert was a graduate of Northwestern High School and dedicated 43 years to his career as a manufacturing engineer at General Electric before retiring. A member of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge #222 in Conneaut, he enjoyed camping, tinkering in the garage, gardening, and riding his Harley. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Fondly known for his clever idioms, the infamous "Bobby's way" and cherished as "Mr. Fix It".

Robert's passing coincided with his 46th wedding anniversary to his beloved wife Rebecca (Kantola) Hills. Together, they raised two children: Doug (Kylie) Hills of Conneaut and Kaylee (Michael) Abramovich of Parma Heights. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Trenton and Natalee Hills, Leo and Beau Abramovich, and his beloved dog, Watson.

Robert is survived by his brother, Jerry (Geralyn) Hills of E. Springfield; sisters, Diane Bennett, , Kathy Hintz, Melody Snelling, and Tracy (Pat) Clower. He was preceded in death by his parents; dad, Gerald; brother, Donald Hills; and sisters, Lori Wadding and Terry Hills-Beer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut. A Masonic Lodge Service and eulogy will follow.
