Suzzy loved to travel, especially to California, the Arizona Desert, Wyoming and the Florida beaches. She married her soulmate Robert "Bob" Rose and together they spent 47 beautiful years of adventures including, Harley's, back county roads, mom and pop restaurants, music, dancing, flea markets, dinner and a movie, Native American Pow-wows, Cleveland Browns, and so much more. Suzzy was a talented artist and also made clothes in both cloth and leather. She really enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. She loved all animals and had many dogs, cats, birds, and fish throughout the years. Suzzy was the Geneva City Humane agent in 1988 and was passionate about her efforts to help animals. She loved the Lord and drove the Church bus taking people to and from church. Suzzy brought many smiles and stories to family and friends throughout the years and is deeply missed by many. She is preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Penny Thomas, Sally Greenwall, and Trena Watts. Left here to remember Suzzy are her husband Bob Rose, her sister Juanita York, her brother Jim Scheuring, her nephew Mark Kinkead, her nieces Jodi Davis, Dana Goodge, and Lauren Rinaldo, and her many friends and neighbors.

Dearest Suzzy, There is no one at the door when I come home anymore. No "hello honey" and a kiss. It's only the beginning of this journey I'm on, and there is so much more I will miss...watching you sleep, you taking my hand when we would walk, the way your eyes looked at me and we didn't need words to talk. A lifetime of sweet memories that I would gladly so over again! You were the one who made me by being an angel, a wife, and a friend. Love, Bob.
