Jefferson, Ohio - Tammy Lynea Thomas, RN, 63, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her home, surrounded by the loving care of her husband, Thomas.

She was born on April 18, 1962, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Charles and Diane (Pickett) Young.

She graduated from Edgewood High School, and went on to earn her associate's degree from Lakeland College. Tammy gave 30 years of service to Ashtabula Regional Medical Center, and another five years at Alliance Community Hospital. She married the love of her life, Tom, on February 25, 2015. She especially cherished time spent walleye fishing on Lake Erie with her husband, and while living in Stark County, the couple kept a second home near the lake to enjoy those moments together. She was also a devoted member of Eagleville Bible Church. Above all, Tammy loved gathering with her large family and entertaining them.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Thomas; her children, Dustin (Sara) Spangler, Ryan (Wendy) Spangler, Jami (Anohk) Kondru, Nicole Spangler, Thomas (Hannah) Thomas, Danyel Thomas, and Dylen Thomas; her parents, Charles and Diane Young; grandchildren, Rian, Lexi, Adrianna, Avani, Alana, Amara, Kaden, Keira, Lill, Ali, Lynley, and Elsie; her sisters, Dawn, Deana, and Tracy; and her mother-in-law, Francis Thomas

A Celebration of Life will be held at Eagleville Bible Church, 1981 OH-45, Rock Creek, OH 44084, on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Harvest Foundation, 2926 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, OH 44004.
