Hartsgrove - Virgie L. Miller, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Virgie was the daughter of Worley Kirk and Ella Mae Dye Kirk, born April 1, 1932 in Sugar Grove, VA. Virgie was married to John H. Miller, Sr. on April 19, 1952.

Virgie enjoyed traveling and above all, absolutely cherished her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and loved every moment she spent with them.

Virgie is survived by her three children John (Sandy) Miller of Geneva, Roy (Ann Marie) Miller of Mount Airy, NC and Christy (Duane Kays) Miller of Rootstown; grandchildren Jason (Elle Van Natta) Miller of San Francisco, CA, Kevin (Holly) Miller of Geneva, Melinda (Ron) Riker of Stafford, VA, Candice (Joy Bonelli) Miller of Tampa, FL, Megan (Anthony) Paolucci of Cuyahoga Falls, Katelin (Jeremy Wascak) Kays of Stow, and Collin (Alicia Nation) Kays of Kent; great-grandchildren Keagan, Xander, Haden, Emma, Olivia and Jackson; brothers Luther (Katy) Kirk, George "Red" Kirk and Paul (Charlene) Kirk; sisters Barbara "Bobbie" Pruitt, June "Billie" Teel and several nieces and nephews. Virgie was preceded in death by her parents Worley and Ella Mae Dye Kirk; her loving husband, John H. Miller, Sr.; brothers Sherman Kirk, Vernon Kirk and John Kirk; sisters Vera Lorleberg, Violet Stuart, Ruth Gore, and Virginia Robinson. A Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Robin Stanley will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, OH 44076. Burial will follow at the Hartsgrove Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Paine Funeral Home.
