Wayne R. Busch, age 82, of Madison, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Lake West Hospital.

He was born on April 4, 1934, in Euclid, Ohio. Mr. Busch was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #601 in Madison.

He was an iron worker employed in the construction industry. He belonged to local 17 in Cleveland. He loved to fish on Lake Erie and was known as "Walleye Wayne". He had also sailed on freighters on the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean.

Wayne is survived by his son, Roger Busch (Connie) of Ashtabula; daughter, Lisa Busch of Madison; brother, Jerry Busch (Lu Ann) of Geneva-on-the-Lake; sisters, Leona Bailey of Madison and Lois Lemineux of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Busch; and his parents, Louis and Elizabeth Busch.

Calling Hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Today, Dec. 18th, at POTTI FUNERAL HOME, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery.
