Welton "Wally" Byrd, age 85.

Beloved father of Vera Reese, Brian (Diane), Gary (deceased) (Vicki), Scott (deceased), and Amy Anderson (Matthew). Loving grandfather of Melissa, Kristen, Michelle, Joseph, Mia, and Delaney. Great-grandfather of Kaitlyn, Conner, and Evan. Brother of Mildred, Bernard, Alvin, Dorothy (deceased), Roger, Patricia, Kathy, Jeannie, Karen, Mary, Loyce (deceased), and Don (deceased).

A U.S. Army Veteran that earned a Purple Heart for his service during the Korean War. Wally enjoyed coaching his children in softball, baseball, football and enjoyed spending time with friends, family and grandchildren.

VISITATION WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 10, 2018, FROM 4-6 PM at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma. FUNERAL SERVICE TO FOLLOW at 6 PM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on THURSDAY at 10:30 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY.
